The question is, who are you performing it for, and can the people tell you're performing it for Him?

I've really noticed it in our church for the past two or three weeks -- I don't know if it's always been like that or if it's a new development, but a few weeks ago I was on the worship team and we'd prepared an AMAZING set. I was so pumped about it -- and then by the looks of most of the congregation's faces you'd think they would rather be a Jew in a Nazi concentration camp. (All right, perhaps that's a bit extreme, but not by as much as one would like...)

I'm glad you enjoyed it though. :-) This is definitely high on my list of personal favourites.Sarah-Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06307823094722155807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1017720918516507228.post-36421514821296884282011-09-24T11:05:08.834-06:002011-09-24T11:05:08.834-06:00I know what you mean, it's kind of a tough spo...I know what you mean, it's kind of a tough spot to be in as a vocalist, though. You want to be dynamic enough to get people excited, but not so much so that they question whether you're worshipping or performing. And then you have the weeks where no one will perk up no matter what you do, and those kind of just sap your energy. But anyway, great song. :)Brittneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12840150141635229941noreply@blogger.com
